My sister leant me a book on Saturday and I read it in 2 days--it was a quick, enjoyable read. The title says it all: "Mafia to Mormon: My Conversion Story". Mario Facione grew up in Detroit surrounded by the Italian Association. He learned the tricks of the trade from his father and easily became part of the mob as he grew older. He participated in so many scams that I started to feel uncomfortable. Although his deception is unbelievable, his conversion story is equally amazing. He saw the hand of God through the whole process. It was fascinating to see him go from a criminally minded individual to a God fearing man. What a great story!
